After successfully delivering other key exhibition and interior projects for BAE Systems, including their presence at Paris Airshow, Equinox were invited to create a pavilion concept for their Tier 1 attendance at Dubai Airshow 2015. Our tender winning proposal was simple yet effective - a combination of innovative displays showcasing the clients industry leading services and touches of traditional Arabic design and hospitality. The exterior shell was designed to stand out as a striking piece of architecture, yet be subtlety decorated with regional patterns as to be welcoming and sympathetic to the local culture.
Excited by our design, BAE Systems appointed Equinox to turn this vision into a reality. With the support of local partners, we provided a full turnkey service including concept development, production, logistical planning and final on-site construction of the finished pavilion. With a dedicated account management team providing daily support and regular face-to-face meetings with the client, we were able to deal with any and all scenarios that arose along the 11-month project span.
Project appointed 2D and 3D designers oversaw every creative stage along the way, from the first initial idea to final graphic artwork. By using a dedicated Studio team, we were able to relay quick yet quality design solutions back to BAE Systems, for any requirements or challenges that arose.
As well as the Pavilion manufacture and installation, Equinox oversaw the production of bespoke AV content to support the internal displays, as well as a series of interactive models dedicated to the story of the BAE System training programme.
